Area Description:
Bordon is situated in Hampshire approximately halfway between Portsmouth and London. The A325 Petersfield to Farnham Road, linking the M3 and A3, runs through the Town providing easy access to Portsmouth ferries, Heathrow and Gatwick and rail links to London. The nearest main line stations are found at Liphook (approx 5 miles) and Alton (approx 8 miles). The town provides day to day shopping including Tesco and Somerfield supermarkets, Wilkinsons hardware store (due to open May 08), chemists, banks and Post Office. There are schools for all ages, a leisure centre and doctor and dental surgeries along with The Chase Hospital (non emergency).
