Haslemere is situated on the Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire borders. The town is within easy reach of London and situated on the edge of the Sussex Weald, with the South Coast being just over 20 miles away. Haslemere is protected by the hills of Hindhead, Blackdown and Marley, much of which is owned by The National Trust.
The area is renowned for its walking and riding country, many of the paths having stunning views. The town provides an excellent range of independent shops and larger supermarkets, good schooling - both state and private. There are also churches of principal denominations and a range of sporting and leisure facilities.
Haslemere station is just a short walk away from the High Street and London Waterloo can be reached by train in around 50 minutes. The A3 at Hindhead is about 3.5 miles away and provides easy access to the M25 and M27 motorways. Both Gatwick and Heathrow Airports can be reached in under 1 hour.
