Area Description:
Haslemere is situated on the Surrey/Sussex/Hampshire borders within easy reach of London and situated on the edge of the Sussex Weald, with the South coast being just over 20 miles distant. The town is protected by the hills of Hindhead, Blackdown and Marley, much of which owned by The National Trust.
The area is renowned for its walking and riding country, many of the paths having stunning views. The Town provides an excellent range of individual shops and the larger supermarkets, good schooling-both state and private- Churches of principal denominations, and a range of sporting/leisure facilities.
Communications:
London can be reached by train in about 50 minutes (Waterloo).
The A3 at Hindhead is about 3.5 miles away with communications to the M25 and M27 motorways.
