Happy 60th…

Following on from last week, we are getting reports from all
across Keats Country that there is a sustained continuation in
activity since the start of the New Year. There is no doubt that
whilst the politicians continue to have long faces, and in
particular doom and gloom on the economic front, the general public
are getting on with life, starting to look for a new home and
therefore, with the Queen’s 60th Jubilee and the Olympics on
the horizon, now is as good a time as any to get that property into
the open market.
And the Queen is not the only one to celebrate a
“60th” – our very own Andrew Meehan at Keats
Grayshott is 60 today, so we all wish him a very happy birthday for
25th January. Balloons and cake were the order of the day with all
members of staff present to share a celebratory glass of fizz! We
just managed to squeeze the time in a busy schedule of office
appointments, with, as reported earlier, lots of viewings and
instructions to look after.
So, if there is anyone out there wondering about whether or not
to go on the market, or start looking – now is very much the
time. The evenings are getting noticeably lighter and although we
cannot be sure we won’t get snow this year, take advantage of
a currently mild period and take the plunge – the water is
really quite warm!
