Polo for all at Grayshott Village Show

Keats Country is always coming up with surprises. Bet you
thought Polo was for the rich and well heeled and only available at
Cowdray Park? Well, come and be inspired and thrilled with
Grayshott’s very own Polo Match, hosted by Polo4 at
Applegarth Farm, located right on the edge of the village –
there is even a new footpath, so you can stroll in from the village
in safety! On Sunday 5th August, the gates open at 11am with the
Polo on at 3pm – entry fees apply.
And if that was not enough, there will be a whole host of
fascinating events taking place alongside the horse action. For
those peckish moments there is a fabulous hog roast and barbeque
and for those with a thirst, there is a champagne and Pimms and to
round off the culinary delights, there will be the Applegarth
Afternoon tea tent – so food and drink to cater for all
tastes.
Then, while you are savouring these delights, watch with awe the
12th Century combat demonstrations from Historia Normannis, the
breathtaking Birds of Prey display, Shire horses doing what shire
horses do, and of course an event no village show would be complete
without – the dog with the Waggiest Tail Competition!
And that is just for the adults – children will be right
royally entertained with a Kids Corner, face painting, bouncy
castle and carousel, mini farm tractor rides and of course lots of
stalls and Ice Creams to name but a few. And not forgetting a very
special opportunity for the ladies - mini-spa treatments courtesy
of Old Thorns.
So come to Grayshott on Sunday 5th August and see what treats
are on offer at the Village Show; be inspired to come and live here
– Keats Grayshott have a great selection of properties to
suit all pockets and our friendly and knowledgeable team of
experienced estate agents are keen to find you your ideal home,
here in the heart of Keats Country.
