'Woo Woo! It's August in Alresford and Thomas The Tank Engine's
Coming to Town'
If you're getting up a head of steam wondering what to do with
the kids, why not bring them to the lovely Georgian market town of
Alresford for a day out on the Watercress Line? Thomas and Friends
will be celebrating their 65th Anniversary at 'A Day Out With
Thomas' from Saturday 7th to Sunday - 15th August.
Alresford is a paradise for steam buffs keen to buy in the area,
and they can often be found in Keats' office in Broad Street
looking for the perfect property. Says Tony Marshall of Keats
Alresford "We sold the Old Signal Box some time ago, but I'm sure
if it was to go back on the market today, there'd still be a queue
of people wanting to buy it. Alresford's a great town to live in,
and the Watercress Line adds to the magic for a lot of people".
